REFLECTION

The aim of this section of the portal is to guide users towards a series of resources on reflection in health and social care practice. If your job involves trying to help experienced and novice practitioners learn from practice, this section of the portal may prove useful. The team have pulled together a number of freely available web resources that will help to close the loop between learning and acting upon reflective knowledge and so improve professional practice.

The resources are grouped under the following topics:

The resources section of this website remains under constant development. The Making Practice Based Learning Work team want to ensure that all links are functioning and that relevant materials are included. Therefore, we would welcome your feedback on the resources section so that we can refine and develop the materials on offer. If you would like to provide feedback, then complete the online questionnaire to send us your comments on the resources section plus any suggested additions.

Acknowledgements: The materials that can be found in this section were developed by Janet Scammell (Project Manager). The skills sub-section was developed by Martin O’Hara (Management Training and Development Consultant).

Additional contributions and review of materials has been undertaken by Anne Quinney, Bournemouth University, Paul Shepherd, University of Ulster, Mel Symons, Poole PCT, Kathleen Head, East Somerset NHS Tr., Rebecca Khanna, Coventry University, Helen Bristow, Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.
